Carl Stanley is originally from Wrightsville, Georgia. Stanley graduated from the University of Georgia in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and continued on to their College of Pharmacy.
As one of the founding members of Angus Lake, Carl has over 50 years of experience in the pharmacy industry and continues to work as a Pharmacist.
Carl enjoys playing golf as much as he can and spending time with his family. He is a member of Gordon United Methodist Church where he teaches Sunday School and is involved with many ministries and outreaches of the church.
Carla Sappe is originally from Gordon, Georgia. Sappe graduated from the University of Georgia in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in English before earning her Doctor of Pharmacy in 2002.
As a founding member of Angus Lake, Carla has over 20 years of experience in the industry and operates as the Pharmacist in charge, handling the daily operations of the organization.
Outside of work, Carla enjoys singing and performing as she is a trained soprano. She also enjoys reading, watching true crime stories, listening to podcasts, sewing, and crafting in her spare time. Carla is married to her high school sweetheart and they have three wonderful children and a beagle. Carla is an active member of her church, Board Member of her county health department, and involved in her children’s school.
Ben Stanley is originally from Gordon, Georgia. Stanley graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in 2004 and went on to earn his Doctor of Pharmacy in 2009 from Campbell University.
Stanley joined the Angus Lake team as a Staff Pharmacist in 2018 and has over 12 years of experience in the industry.
Outside of work, Ben enjoys playing golf, boating, and taking trips to the mountains. He is married to his wife, Jill, with two children, Carley and Chandler, and is a member of Milledgeville First United Methodist Church.
Jill Stanley is originally from Evans, Georgia. Stanley attended Georgia College and State University and earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from Campbell University in 2008.
Stanley joined Angus Lake as a Staff Pharmacist in 2019 and has over 13 years of experience in the industry.
Jill enjoys going to the beach and mountains, spending time with her family, and boating. She is married to Pharmacist Ben Stanley with two children, Carley and Chandler, and is also a member of Milledgeville First United Methodist Church.
Deborah Brannen is originally from McIntyre, Georgia. Brannen graduated from Georgia College and State University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. In 2012, she earned her CPhT to become a Certified Pharmacy Technician.
Deborah joined the Angus Lake team in 2019 and has 16 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Outside of work, Brannen enjoys baking and cooking, reading mysteries, and completing puzzles.
Peggy Yaun is originally from Michigan. She joined Angus Lake in 2020 as a Pharmacy Technician with over 26 years of experience in the industry. Outside of work at Angus Lake, Peggy loves working with her church and its ministries. In her spare time, Peggy enjoys gardening, working in her yard, and crafting.
Glenda Young was born in Middle Georgia and has called Gordon her home for the last 50 years. Glenda has over 35 years in the industry and has been operating as Angus Lake’s Billing Coordinator in the Business Office since 2015.
Outside of work, Young enjoys working in her garden and cooking. She loves spending time with her family and grandchildren. Glenda enjoys singing and playing piano at her church where she also loves helping out with its ministries.
Joel Stanley is originally from Wrightsville, Georgia, and studied at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Stanley has over 15 years of experience in the industry and joined the Angus Lake team in 2008. Joel operates as a marketing coordinator and liaison for Angus Lake in addition to overseeing IT operations and troubleshooting.
Outside of work, Joel enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and traveling.
