Compliance Packaging

Angus Lake Healthcare offers compliance packaging for our partners throughout Georgia. Once a prescription is sent to us, we fill it accordingly and begin the packaging process. We will work with you to determine the best form of compliance packaging to reduce patient and staff errors while dispensing the medications.

Once the medications are packaged and ready to go, we will deliver them directly to your facility and let the staff or caregivers take over administering the medications from there. We always stay involved with any medication updates or changes and package accordingly.

No Hidden Fees

There are no additional fees for compliance packaging. We understand it’s difficult to keep track of one patient’s medication, not to mentions dozens, and offer this service to reduce patient or staff errors in administering the medications.

Our Compliance Packaging Options

Traditional

Traditional packaging is a month-to-month punch out card that has a daily medication in each punch-slot. Each slot is clearly labeled and all instructions will be listed on the punch card, such as when and how to take the medication.

Pouch

Our pouch packaging secures a patient’s medication for the morning and night or day-to-day all in one package. Each package is clear, making the pills visible from the outside. The prescriptions will be clearly marked to avoid a dispensing error. This form of packaging is also ideal for people still able to travel, as the pouches are airport safe and able to pack for any number of days.

Bottle

Our bottle packaging is offered as a way to enhance a patient’s independence. If residents are cleared to administer their own medications, this is a great way to prolong their self-sufficiency. All bottles are clearly marked with the patient’s information as well as directions for taking the medication.

EasyRX

EasyRx is a medication compliance tool that simplifies adherence for patients. An alternative to pill planners, EasyRx allows patients to obtain a month’s worth of medication, packaged and labeled for individual use with easy to follow directions. EasyRx is a great alternative for patients juggling multiple medications or complex medication regimens. EasyRx is also perfect for patients transitioning back home from a facility or for those who want to maintain their independence with this easy to use system.
